Envirotech Services Ltd is proud to be delivering a full-scale mechanical services fit-out for the prestigious MOCO Museum, transforming the venue into a modern, spacious, and climate-optimized art gallery. Designed to offer both comfort and performance, this comprehensive project reflects our expertise in delivering high-end mechanical installations in public cultural spaces.
Our team was tasked with the design, supply, installation, and commissioning of advanced building systems to enhance environmental quality, energy efficiency, and safety across the museum.

Scope of Works:

  • Complete ductwork installation for supply and extract ventilation
  • Ventilation grilles (supply and extract) for balanced airflow
  • VRF system, incorporating both AHU (Air Handling Units) and fan coil units for zoned temperature control
  • Public Health Systems for staff areas, tea points, and public restrooms
  • Full BMS (Building Management System) integration for centralised control of mechanical services
  • Leak detection systems installed across toilets, plant rooms, humidifiers, and water mains
  • Humidifier system designed to operate in synergy with ductwork to maintain optimal indoor conditions
  • Roof-mounted condensers supplying the VRF and AHU systems in the plant room
  • Dedicated extract fan system for all public toilets
  • Fire-rated ductwork with strategically placed fire dampers, ensuring compartmentalisation and enhanced fire safety
  • Installation of Smoke VCDs (Volume Control Dampers) to support controlled smoke extraction in case of emergency

This bespoke mechanical installation was designed to deliver a high-end, safe, and energy-efficient environment for both museum staff and the public. The result is a state-of-the-art facility that significantly enhances the visitor experience while meeting strict performance and safety standards.
